Come join us for a fun, feminine, and core-centric workout!
Your class will start off with a simple, yet invigorating warmup consisting of joint rotations and limbering, followed by standing ab and leg strengthening exercises.
Then we will go over proper alignment and you will learn individual belly dance movements and isolations. These will then be used in simple choreographies, so you will be dancing by the end of the class!
You will also be learning veil work and finger cymbals. We will finish off with deep and relaxing stretches.
Wear something you can move in and that inspires you! Bare feet or soft shoes like ballet slippers are best. If you have your own hip scarf, finger cymbals, or veil, bring them; or you can borrow them if you don’t have your own. There may also be some for sale. You can register at www.sparkarts.com
